BBC Performing Arts Fund – take 2

I am very excited to announce that I have been a successful recipient of another helpful amount of funding from the BBC Performing Arts Fund in the final ever set of funding. This amazing organisation is unfortunately closing down early next year due to changes in the setup at the BBC. You can read more about this at the link:

This fund is however rekindling the work with my large ensemble projects and will allow another opportunity to study with world-renowned composer and arranger, Vince Mendoza!

I will then be working towards recording a series of music for various ensembles all to be put together early January next year. I will keep you up to date with the progress and any sneak peeks of the music and the project as it unfolds.

In the meantime, the big band gets to have another outing of the previous BBC PAF music as part of Jazz Northeast’s amazing work in Newcastle. More information here for anyone who may be in the area…! Or there is an event on the band’s Facebook page too – https://www.facebook.com/events/656831004447698/
